Membership Information
CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP
The membership of ISTREL shall consist of Founding Members, Associate Members, Regular Members, and Institutional Members.
(a) Founding Members. They shall be those who formed and organized ISTREL, the incorporators.
(b) Associate Members. They shall be those individuals who are engaged in or having interest in transdisciplinary research, does not have a bachelor’s degree, and elected as Associate Members by majority vote of the Board of Trustees.
(c) Regular Members. They shall be those individuals who are engaged in or having interest in transdisciplinary research, at least a bachelor’s degree holder, and elected as Regular Members by majority vote of the Board of Trustees.
(d) Institutional Members. They shall be those institutions such as universities and colleges and other organizations interested in the objectives and willing to support ISTREL and elected as Institutional Members by majority vote of the Board of Trustees. Each institutional member shall designate its representative to ISTREL.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
The annual dues for members are the following:
(a) Founding Members. Membership dues for founding members are waived and they shall have lifetime membership.
(b) Associate Members. The annual dues for associate members are P200.00 per year starting 2024 until 2025, P300.00 per year from 2026 to 2027, and P400.00 per year starting 2028 onwards.
(c) Regular Members. The annual dues for regular members are P500.00 per year starting 2024 until 2025, P600.00 per year from 2026 to 2027, and P700.00 per year starting 2028 onwards.
(d) Institutional Members. The annual dues for institutional members are P1,000.00 per year starting 2024 until 2025, P1,500.00 per year from 2026 to 2027, and P2,000.00 per year starting 2028 onwards.
BENEFITS
A member shall receive the following benefits:
Certificate of Membership; and
Membership ID Card
He or she shall also have the following opportunities at ISTREL:
Invitation to serve as Session Chair in research conferences;
Invitation to serve as Paper Reviewer for journal publications;
Publication opportunities in peer-reviewed journals;
Nomination to the annual outstanding award ceremony for the following categories:
Most Outstanding Educator of the Year
Most Outstanding Researcher of the Year
Most Outstanding Leader of the Year
Opportunity to be invited as resource speaker and facilitator in webinars, trainings, and workshops; and
Financial grant for research conferences organized by reputable organizations and educational institutions
